About ASSEMBLY

In June 2023, INTERFORM will organize and host the first North American Fashion Biennial in Northwest Arkansas, with follow-up programming to take place in June 2025. 
Based on INTERFORM’s unique positioning – as an arts and culture organization at the intersection of racial equity and social justice – the event will be the first-of-its-kind as it engages in complex dialogues across community boundaries, all through the lens of art and fashion.

At the heart of INTERFORM’s mission is a commitment to creative growth.
Blending the art of fashion with the cultural examination of contemporary art, ASSEMBLY will feature fashion-focused temporary arts exhibitions that examine the role that fashion plays in defining our cultural expression.
ASSEMBLY will recruit national creative talent to anchor the event, but also strongly focus on collaborations with regional partners.
